What training and legal supervision does the IDF provide to ensure its compliance with international law?

The IDF Military Advocate General's Corps provides extensive training to fighting forces in the Law of Armed Conflict. This training include software, written material, lectures and workshops, integration of Law of Conflict norms into combat doctrine, academic courses in international law, educational booklets and comparative manuals on the Law of Armed Conflict.

Before and during the Gaza war, IDF military lawyers from the IDF Military Advocate General's Corps provided legal advice on the Law of Armed Conflict to commanders at the General Staff, Regional Command and Divisional levels.
