Opening of Direct Telephone Line from Indonesia to Israel

As part of measures to thaw trade and economic relations between Israel and Indonesia, and as a result of direct contacts between the foreign ministries of the two states, a direct telephone communications line between Indonesia and Israel was opened yesterday (December 13), after many years during which communication was possible only from Israel to Indonesia.
