Serbian FM Draskovic visits Israel

In the course of a three-day official visit, Serbian FM Vuk Draskovic met with FM Tzipi Livni and signed cooperation agreements between Israel and Serbia.

Serbian Foreign Minister Vuk Draskovic arrived on Saturday evening (November 4) on an official visit to Israel.

In the course of the visit, he will meet with Prime Minister Ehud Olmert, Vice Premier Shimon Peres, Vice Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs, Tzipi Livni, Opposition leader Binyamin Netanyahu, and with the Chairman of the Friendship Association with Serbia, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Strategic Affairs Avigdor Liberman. Foreign Minister Draskovic will also visit the Yad Vashem Holocaust Memorial and holy Christian sites.

The visit is expected to further strengthen the good diplomatic, economic and cultural relations prevailing between Israel and Serbia.
