Estonia opens embassy in Israel

Estonia to open its embassy today in Tel Aviv, in the presence of Estonian Foreign Minister Paet and other dignitaries

The Estonian embassy Israel will be opened at 4 pm today (18 November 2009) in Tel Aviv, in the presence of Estonian Foreign Minister Mr. Urmas Paet.

Minister of Public Security Yitzhak Aharonovitch will represent the government of Israel at the ceremony. After the ceremony, FM Paet will have dinner with Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs Avigdor Liberman.

Estonia is situated on the Baltic coast in northern Europe. Until 1991 it was part of the Soviet Union, and has been a member of the European Union and NATO since 2004.
