FM Liberman congratulates Prof. Yonath on Nobel Prize in chemistry

Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs Avigdor Liberman congratulated Prof. Ada Yonath on being awarded the Nobel Prize in chemistry.

Foreign Minister Liberman said: "This honor reflects Israel's true image as one of the most scientifically and technologically advanced states in the world. Prof. Yonath joins a distinguished list of Israelis who have won the highest international recognition by being awarded the Nobel Prize. Israel, a small country, is very creditably represented among the recipients of this prize. The  aim that Israeli leaders and citizens must all bear in mind is to promote education to excellence that will make Israel a synonym for a state that gives of its talents and brain power in order to create a better world."
