A delegation of young diplomats from Turkey's Foreign Ministry and from Turkish embassies in the region will be visiting Israel this week (15-20 November) within the framework of a cooperation agreement to train young diplomats and exchange diplomatic delegations. That agreement was signed by the Directors General of the Foreign Ministries of Turkey and Israel in 2008.
A delegation of young diplomats from Israel visited Turkey for the first time under the agreement in November 2008.
The purpose of the agreement and the reciprocal visits is to deepen the ties between the Foreign Ministries of Turkey and Israel and to contribute to a better mutual acquaintance with the challenges faced by both Foreign Ministries and countries.
