Gala evening for the Israeli-Palestinian Chamber of Commerce

The Israeli-Palestinian Chamber of Commerce was established with the aim of strengthening the commercial and economic ties between Israel and the Palestinian Authority.

The Israeli-Palestinian Chamber of Commerce and Industry (IPCC) will hold its first gala event on Monday, 18 May, at the Dan Hotel in Tel Aviv. Guests of honor include the President of the State of Israel, Mr. Shimon Peres, the Quartet's special envoy to the Middle East, Mr. Tony Blair, and his wife Sherie, Vice Prime Minister and Minister for Regional Development Silvan Shalom, and Deputy Foreign Minister Daniel Ayalon.

Prominent members of the Israeli and PA business communities as well as foreign ambassadors are expected to attend. The event will be hosted by Mr. Eival Giladi, the Chair of IPCC, and sponsored by the Portland Trust, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, the Nesher Israel Cement Enterprises, the ASYD Investment Company, and the Ministry of Industry, Trade and Labor.

The Israeli-Palestinian Chamber of Commerce was established early this year at the initiative of leading Israeli businesspeople, with the aim of strengthening the commercial and economic ties between Israel and the Palestinian Authority.
