Our Winter 1992 edition addresses the issues of waste management in
Israel. With the institution of new legislative and administrative
tools, improvements in the disposal and treatment of solid waste and
hazardous wastes are anticipated. Israel's active participation in the
international environmental arena continues. The International
Cooperation section of this Bulletin surveys national developments in
the critical areas of climate warming and environmental financing and
presents a few highlights of the recent multilateral peace talks on the
environment.
