CABINET MEETING POSTPONED

(Communicated by the Prime Minister's Media Adviser)

The Cabinet meeting which had been planned for tomorrow (Wednesday), 18.11.98, in order to approve the implementation of Israel's part of the first stage of the Wye Agreement, has been postponed until Thursday, 19.11.98. This is in order to enable the Palestinians to complete the fulfilling of all of their commitments according to the Wye Agreement (publication of an order against incitement, publication of an order regarding the collection of weapons, and the submission of a plan to collect weapons).

Similarly, the Cabinet will seek to verify that the Palestinian Authority has indeed imprisoned 10 terrorists from the list of 30 and that articles of the Palestine National Charter have been duly abrogated by the PLO Executive Committee.
