PM NETANYAHU WELCOMES ARAFAT STATEMENT ON ARRESTS

Following the statement made by PA Chairman Yasser Arafat on the arrest of
suspects, Prime Minister Netanyahu said this evening (Wednesday) 4.11.98,
that while he has heard that a small number of them have been arrested in
the past, if Arafat's report is accurate, then he welcomes it.
The Prime Minister said: "This is exactly what we are demanding: strict
observance of the agreement by both sides -- the Palestinian and the
Israeli."
