25. Israel Resumes Participation in the Jarring Talks, Government Decision, 28 December 1970:

Satisfactory understanding was reached with the United States, and that enabled the Government of Israel to make the following decision:

The Government decided today that the present political and military conditions enable and justify the termination of the suspension of Israel's participation in talks under the auspices of Ambassador Jarring.

The Government decided to authorize the Minister for Foreign Affairs to inform those concerned of the readiness of the Government of Israel to resume its participation in the Jarring talks, in accordance with the basic principles of the Government's policy and on the basis of its decisions of 31 July and 4 August 1970 as approved by the Knesset concerning Israel's affirmative reply to the American peace initiative.
