PM Sharon: Continuation of General Zinni's mission in region is of utmost importance

Prioyme Minister Ariel Sharon met on Monday, December 10, 2001
with US Envoy General Anthony Zinni and US Ambassador to Israel
Daniel Kurtzer.
Prime Minister Sharon told General Zinni that he views the
continuation of the General's mission in the region as of the
utmost importance, and that Israel will make every effort to
assist General Zinni in his mission.
Prime Minister Sharon noted that Arafat has yet to make a
strategic decision to abandon the path of terrorism, and that we
have still not seen any significant actions to prevent attacks,
arrest terrorists and fight terrorism and terrorist
infrastructure.
