IDF Redeployment in Bethlehem

In recent days, IDF forces redeployed on the outskirts of Bethlehem,
in order to allow the celebration of the Christmas holiday in the
city.
During the holiday, the IDF will facilitate the entry of Christian
Israeli Arabs into Bethlehem. Such entry will take place in organized
public transportation, through checkpoint 300, in the northern part
of the city. Diplomats, tourists, foreign citizens and journalists
will also be allowed to enter the city. In addition, the entry of
Christians from the West Bank holding special permits will be
allowed.
The IDF will do everything possible to allow the celebration of the
Christmas holidays to take place, while continuing to operate in
accordance with the prevailing security situation and terror threats.
