IDF Redeployment in Bethlehem
(Communicated by the IDF Spokesman)

In recent days, IDF forces redeployed on the outskirts of Bethlehem, in order to allow the celebration of the Christmas holiday in the city.

During the holiday, the IDF will facilitate the entry of Christian Israeli Arabs into Bethlehem. Such entry will take place in organized public transportation, through checkpoint 300, in the northern part of the city. Diplomats, tourists, foreign citizens and journalists will also be allowed to enter the city. In addition, the entry of Christians from the West Bank holding special permits will be allowed.

The IDF will do everything possible to allow the celebration of the Christmas holidays to take place, while continuing to operate in accordance with the prevailing security situation and terror threats.
