Judea Junction crossing open for free passage

As part of the plan authorized by Defense Minister Ehud Barak to improve the quality of life in Judea and Samaria, as of this morning, August 7, 2008, the Judea Junction crossing will open for free passage of Palestinian trucks.

The plan, which is in accordance with security assessments, is designed to implement a series of measures that improve the quality of life for Palestinians in Judea and Samaria.

The Judea Junction crossing, which connects the city of Hebron and the Tarqumiya crossing, will be open for daily passage of freight vehicles between 5:00-7:00 and 9:00-13:00.
