The Knesset Foreign Affairs and Defense Committee convened a special meeting on November 30 to mark the 50th anniversary of the Center for International Cooperation, better known as MASHAV.
The Committee acknowledged the impressive work MASHAV has been doing since its inception in 1958, providing humanitarian aid to many countries all over the world in diverse fields such as agriculture, medicine, education and industry.
The Chair of the Committee, MK Tzahi Hanegbi, noted that MASHAV's activities exemplify Israel's values and contribute to the development of international relations and to enhancing Israel's image in the world.
