Humanitarian aid continues to be a main component of the humanitarian effort. As such, over the last two days 3790 tons of aid, donations and goods for the private sector were shipped to Gaza via the Kerem Shalom cargo terminal. Also, some 108 liters of heavy duty diesel were transferred via Kerem Shalom for the Gaza Power station. The Karni conveyor belt is due to be reutilized today following a technical malfunction. Nahal Oz fuel depot is currently full with fuel and gas and can only be used once the depot is emptied. COGAT are working together with UNRWA in order to overcome this obstacle.

Since the beginning of the operation, 29,112 tons of humanitarian supplies have been transferred to Gaza in 1202 trucks. Also, 1,436,350 liters of fuel have been conveyed through Nahal Oz and Kerem Shalom.
