Ariel Atias was born in Tel Aviv in 1970.
Atias is the general manager of Shas’ kosher supervision organization.
He was elected to the Knesset in 2006 on the Shas list. In May 2006 Ariel Atias was appointed Minister of Communications.
He is married and the father of four.
