Through the use of controlled and uniform articulation, this building expresses the required symbolic meaning of a court house, yet retains the free atmosphere of this resort town of Eilat.

Its restrained presence is timeless and above fashion and trend. Special care is given to the harsh and dry weather, especially noticeable in the use of double mantles to allow a shaded but direct penetration of light.

The structure is positioned on its long and narrow site at the highest corner of a civic park with extensive views to the city below. The entry is tucked away, thus creating an inviting, yet ceremonial approach. The well laid out plan allows for interaction among the four courtrooms and adjacent open and closed spaces. Arranged along a spine, the layout allows for future expansion.
