This deconstructivist building refers through its form, material, and
color to the modernist architecture of Tel Aviv in the 1930's.
A three-dimensional composition of three volumes which function according to
their distinct programmatic use. The sinking stone-clad cube contains the
theater hall; the curving central space contains a multipurpose foyer; and
the rectangular floating volume contains recreational rooms and a youth
hostel. The layout creates an entry plaza at the main facade while framing
a public garden behind.
