| The campus abutting the Carmel Market is comprised of a renovated 1930's building and a new building used as gallery space.
Beyond the refreshing openness which characterizes its spatial layout, the college inserts a new architectural content into the dilapidated surroundings.
As an institute of art education, the alien avant-gardism intervention is not wasted, and emerges as a legitimate visual interpretation of the surrounding urban traits - market stands, metal roofs, water tanks, and enclosed balconies. | |
