This administrative compound is located in the heart of the industrial
district of Acre. Comprised of two structures, a plaza, and a courtyard,
the constellation assimilates local functional needs with the advanced
high-tech substance of the company. The layout is based on four cubes of
different constructional expressions - two cubes support the management
building (one of which is a forest of columns), and the other two support
the research building.
The two buildings enclose an open courtyard which functions on one side as
|
|
the entry approach and on the other as protected private outdoor space.
The flow between the distinct elements is further strengthened by the use
of transparent walls and the paving pattern which extends from the lobby
out into the plaza and courtyard.
