TRACKING BY DRONE
For the first time ever, biological research was carried out with the help of unmanned aerial vehicles (drones) produced by the Israel Aircraft Industries. The pursuit was controlled from a monitoring vehicle on land.

TRACKING BY TRANSMITTER
This White Stork, caught in the Beit She'an Valley in northern Israel, had a small transmitted attached to it, with signals going to a satellite. The satellite tracked its migration across geographic borders.
