The Inside Israel exhibition presents 180 art works of 60 leading Israeli artists. It contains a unique variety of photographs displaying contemporary Israel, landscapes and nature, modern-day lifestyles in Israel, Judaism, ethnic groups, architecture, as well as expressive artistic photographs prevalent in the Israeli photography scene. From December 2008 and throughout the year 2009, the Inside Israel exhibition will travel around China.
The exhibition opened on December 12, 2008 at the China Three Gorges Museum in the city of Chongqing. After Chongqing the exhibition will move to the city of Harbin and will be exhibited to the public during the International Ice and Snow Festival.
The project is produced with the help of the China-Israel Friendship Society and the Chinese People's Association for Friendship with Foreign Countries in collaboration with the China Three Gorges Museum, the Israel Foreign Affairs Ministry and the Israeli Embassy in China.
