On Tuesday, 5 June, the Israeli embassy in Moscow initiated an exciting and festive event in which students of the Moscow ORT school network presented letters and drawings for the children of Sderot. On one of the drawings, the young artist wrote "If we only help each other, we will be able to contend with any difficulty". The children presented their works to Ambassador Anna Azari.

The Ambassador thanked the children for their efforts and expressed her confidence that the letters and drawings would warm the hearts of all Sderot residents, adults and children alike. The Ambassador added that "While the Iranian President cynically calls on Palestinian and Lebanese children to fight and destroy Israel, we teach our children tolerance and restraint. This is clearly expressed in these drawings and letters, which warm the heart and express consideration and concern for others".

The children, some of whom will be visiting Israel in the coming weeks, told of their interest in Israel and expressed their concern and commitment to the children and residents of Sderot.
