The International Model United Nations is an academic simulation of the United Nations that aims to educate participants about civics, effective communication, globalization and multilateral diplomacy. The MUNs are famous worldwide and have already taken place in more than 20 countries around the globe.
ISRAMUN 2009 is the first academic International Model United Nations in Israel. ISRAMUN was established by volunteer students from the College of Management Academic Studies, under the auspices of the Concord Research Center for Integration of International Law in Israel.
ISRAMUN 2009 aims to produce a memorable international event in which student delegates from Israel and from around the globe will take an active part and engage in exciting intellectual discourse and cultural exchange. We invite you, students from all around the world, who are interesting in diplomacy to take part in this unique project.
ISRAMUN aims to open its first conference with a unique and challenging theme: Nuclear Agendas: Our World, Our Lives.
Students from Israel and all around the world have agreed to participate in our one-of-a kind conference to take part in this unique international and cultural experience. The interaction between participants from diversified countries and cultures is one of ISRAMUN’s primary focuses.
In ISRAMUN students take on roles as diplomats, participate in simulated sessions of the United Nations organs, investigate debate and deliberate on international issues, and develop solutions to world problems in the form of formal resolutions.
ISRAMUN not only provides delegates with a professional discussion platform but also presents ample opportunities to see the beauty of Israel and its culture. Cocktail parties, a beach party, seminars, tours around Israel, an international night, an optional tour to Eilat and so much more is guaranteed to the ISRAMUN's participants.
