Ambassador Eran to Head Israeli Team to Talks

Prime Minister Ehud Barak decided yesterday (Monday), 25.10.99, after consultations with Foreign Minister David Levy, to appoint Israeli Ambassador to Jordan Oded Eran as head of the Israeli delegation to the negotiations with the Palestinians.
According to the Prime Minister's Bureau, the appointment of Ambassador Eran, a skilled professional with international and Middle East diplomatic experience, constitutes an expression of the Prime Minister's appreciation for the Israeli foreign service corps.
