Fireflies of Music: 1

Adagio

Does Star Sirius B play
an Evening for Tuba in D
for you too?
Fire destroyed vapour enveloped the ruins of my soul are a background
to fireflies of music in a hostile space
      in floating time
         in a room
      full
         of forgetting me.

Intermezzo

Three betrayals are between us and two previous loyalties
one dedication to a different cause. My arms embrace
all that and more drawing you to me
   in a perfect
      circle how
         could it be

Dolente

Wild flower in my dream is devoured in a forest that remembers
pieces of sky that remember an unbearable fire
on Star Sirius that remembers space of the universe
that remembers you
    who remembers
I will not wake up

Fireflies of Music: 2

Dolce: The Era of Pleasure

This was the dimension of love, the era of pleasure
on one embraced continent.
Dinosaur to dinosaur
exhaled sulphur air and roared
from eruption to eruption there
between me and you

a word did not disturb the world

Intermezzo: The Weak Force

Panagea, one small continent in a round, strong ocean
longed to split
internal fires exploded
lavas and shifts escaped, split waters erupted
depths struggled to emerge

a bad atmosphere blew at her pieces
four forces licked

the weak force pulled at her mind she couldnt change

Staccato: The Era7 of Fracture

To know the whole and feel the fractures.
In a reality of shattered quantities what equals what.
By the time the line divides us
                                              will I know?

An Expert

Im an expert
at losing

Once I exchanged an ocean for a distant mountain a mountain
for a whole desert a desert for a brief love of a man
him for hope hope for a bird close to my heart

Deer flit by in Habima Square deers at midnight
morning dew proves a true essence of chase

If Ill desire the softness of water
I have nothing to exchange

Forest of Errors

The deep forest of errors is behind me
something black
in front of me
pulls out possibilities:
fragile rain, lightning and drought, a violent tornado
                                                over a city of sirens
            between
heartbeat and heartbeat
will I manage to ask what, in fact,
                                                do I see?
