Negotiations on the framework agreement of the
permanent settlement to resume in Washington by
working-level teams in about 10 days, after Muslims' Eid
al-Adha holiday.
Israel to hand over 6.1 percent of the West Bank within a
few days, completing the second redeployment. The
Palestinians will be able to choose the areas they want
from an Israeli map covering about 10 percent of the West
Bank - which will not include areas around Jerusalem.
Both sides will make an effort to complete the framework
agreement in May.
Scope and timing of the third redeployment in the West
Bank to be decided by the sides by the end of June.
Intensive effort to complete the permanent settlement by
Sept. 13, as stipulated in the Sharm el Sheikh agreement.
Israel will release Palestinian prisoners to mark Eid
al-Adha.
An effort will be made to finish dealing with the two open
issues from the Sharm accord: the northern "safe passage"
route and reimbursement of purchase tax by Israel to the
PA.
