  Shaul Amor


  Shaul Amor was born in Morocco in 1940 and immigrated to Israel in 1956.

A social worker by profession, he completed his education at the Social Work Institute, Haifa.

He has been a Member of Knesset since 1988.

Positions held in 12th Knesset:

Member, Finance Committee; Labor & Social Welfare Committee; Education & Culture Committee.

13th Knesset:

Member, Finance Committee; Labor & Social Welfare Committee; Anti-Drug Abuse Committee. Chairman, Development Towns Lobby. Chairman, Social Lobby.

14th Knesset:

Member, Labor & Social Welfare Committee; State Control Committee.

Shaul Amor also served as mayor of Migdal Haemek until November 1998.

Shaul Amor served as Minister without Portfolio from January-July 1999.

He is married and has three children.
