Dan Naveh was born in Israel in 1960.
An attorney by profession, he holds an L.L.B. degree from the Hebrew University in Jerusalem.
Dan Naveh served as Advisor to Minister of Defense and Foreign Minister, Moshe Arens and as Government Secretary to Prime Minister Netanyahu.
Elected to the Knesset in 1999, he served on the Constitution, Law and Justice Committee, the Committee for the Advancement of the Status of the Child. and the Foreign Affairs and Defense Committee.
In March 2001 he was appointed Minister without Portfolio, responsible for coordination between the government and the Knesset. In December 2002 he was appointed Minister of Trade and Industry, serving until the formation of the new government in February 2003.
Dan Naveh served as Minister of Health from February 2003 until his resignation in January 2006.
He is married with two children.
