This document is presented by the Government of Israel to the Middle East/North Africa Economic Conference held in Doha, Qatar November 1997. The document focuses on Israel's approach to the areas of regional cooperation and on key infrastructure development projects in Israel.
The document is based on materials from the Jordan Rift Valley Integrated Development Study and Master Plan, HARZA JRV Group, August 1997; studies by the Technical Support Unit for the TEAM Macro Area and SEMED Projects, conducted by Jennings O'Donovan International Development Ireland Ltd. April 1997 and June 1997 and information from various Israeli government agencies and local authorities.
