Hananya Ben-Avraham

Oct 5, 2001 - Hananya Ben-Avraham, 46, of Elad was killed by Palestinian terrorists in a machine gun ambush near Avnei Hefetz in central Israel.

Hananya Ben-Avraham was killed while driving to work at the Samaria Regional Council when Palestinians opened fire from the roadside.

Friends related that Hananya was an idealist, among the founders of the Kfar Tapuah community. He later resided in Ariel in Samaria, and recently moved to Elad.

Hananya Ben-Avraham was buried in Moshav Bareket. He is survived by his wife and six children.
