Dec 1, 2001 - Michael Moshe Dahan, 21, of Jerusalem, was one of 11 young people killed on Saturday night at the Ben Yehuda pedestrian mall in the center of Jerusalem.

At about 11:30 P.M., two suicide bombers detonated explosive devices on Ben Yehuda Street, the pedestrian mall frequented by many young people on Saturday night. A car bomb exploded nearby 20 minutes later. In addition to the 11 people killed, about 180 were injured in the terrorist attack.

Michael Moshe Dahan came to Israel from France in 1995, and attended boarding school in Kfar Maimon. His family immigrated to Israel a year ago, and live in the Beit Hakerem neighborhood in Jerusalem. Moshe volunteered for military service in the Nahal brigade.

Everyone remembers Moshe Dahan as a person who was full of life. His teacher at the Lev Institute, where he studied recently, said he was an excellent student in Bible, Talmud, and computers. While at high school at "Havat Hanoar Hazioni" in Jerusalem, he met his fiancé, Flora. They were engaged two months ago and were planning to get be married in a few months.

Micahel Moshe Dahan was buried in Jerusalem.
