Boris Tepalshvili

Jan 5, 2003 - Boris Tepalshvili, 51, of Yehud, was one of 23 people killed when two suicide bombers blew themselves up on a pedestrian mall in Tel Aviv's Naveh Sha'anan neighborhood near the old central bus station.
Fatah's Al-Aqsa Martyrs Brigades claimed responsibility for the attack, which apparently was assisted by Islamic Jihad.
Boris Tepalshvili had gone to the area of the old bus station to look for work and to meet a friend. The two had planned to go together to attend a bar mitzva celebration. Boris was killed and his friend wounded.
The Tepalshvili family immigrated from Georgia three years ago, looking for a better life in Israel. Since their aliya Boris worked in a number of part-time jobs, while his wife, Luba, found work in a supermarket. "It was hard for him to find work, and recently he didn't have a job, but despite everything we believed things would be all right," said Luba.
"He was a good man who loved his family. Our daughter is about to get married and it's very painful that her father will not be there when it happens."
Boris Tepalshvili was buried in the Yehud Cemetery. He is survived by his wife and two daughers.
