Moshe (Maurice) Aharfi

Jan 5, 2003 Moshe (Maurice) Aharfi, 60, of Tel-Aviv was one of 23 people killed when two suicide bombers blew themselves up on a pedestrian mall in Tel Aviv's Naveh Sha'anan neighborhood near the old central bus station.
Fatah's Al-Aqsa Martyrs Brigades claimed responsibility for the attack, which apparently was assisted by Islamic Jihad.
Aharfi, originally from Jerusalem, was killed in the bombing in Tel-Aviv, where he had been living for the past few years. His son, Arik, said, "Your children will not forget your joy of living. When we were small, you would always sing to us, joke with us. You were a father who always wanted to succeed, always wanted to learn new things."
Moshe (Maurice) Aharfi was buried in Jerusalem, where his children and relatives live.
