Oct 28, 2000 - The body of Marik Gavrilov, 25, of Bnei Aysh was found inside his burned-out car, between the village of Bitunia and Ramallah.

Gavrilov's body was found inside his burned-out car, between the village of Bitunia and Ramallah. The body, which was riddled by gunfire and in a condition that made identification of the victim difficult, was transferred to Israel by the Palestinian Authority. According to the autopsy report, the body showed significant signs of violence and abuse, and it is possible that Gavrilov was lynched by a Palestinian mob.

Marik leaves behind his parents, Yuri and Vannia, and two brothers, Raddik and Arthur, as well as Reginna, his fiance whom he was planning to marry in the coming year. Marik Gavrilov was buried in the village of Bnei Aysh.
