May 15, 2001 - Idit Mizrahi, 20, of Rimonim, was gunned down in a fatal terrorist ambush as she drove with her father and brother on the Alon Highway to attend a family wedding.

Idit Mizrahi was killed when terrorists ambushed their car and fired 30 bullets, 19 of which hit the family's car.

"She was a cheerful, friendly and happy girl" said a family member.

Idit is survived by her father Moshe, her mother Dalia and her brother Amit (23).

The family asked to bury Idit next to her brother, Shahar, who died during his military service a few years ago. She was laid to rest in the Mount Herzl military cemetery in Jerusalem, near her brother's grave.
