May 18, 2001 - Miriam Waxman, 51, of Hadera was killed in a suicide bombing at Hasharon Mall in the seaside city of Netanya.

Miriam Waxman was shopping in the Hasharon Mall when the terrorist exploded the bomb he was carrying at the entrance to the shopping mall. Four other people were killed in the blast and over 100 were injured. Her husband Yosef was critically injured.
