Jan 5, 2001 - The body of Mordechai Cohen, 34, of Hadera was found in the Caesarea industrial area.

Moty Cohen, a construction engineer who supervised building projects in various parts of Israel, was doing some renovations on his parents' home in Hadera. He had hired several Arab laborers and had gone to pay them. His mutilated body was found in the nearby Caesarea industrial area.

His brother Levi said that Moty, who was single, was a kind man who had no enemies. He always helpful to his family and parents. Moty hadn't quarreled with the Arab workers. On the contrary, he respected them and had even decided to pay them a bonus for the work.

Mordechai Cohen was buried in Hadera. He is survived by his parents, Avraham and Masuda, three brothers - Levi, Yossi and Ofer - and four sisters - Tamy, Yael, Ruty, and Alyza.
