  Riki Hadad

Dec 2, 2001 - Riki Hadad, 30, of Yokne'am, was one of 15 people killed in a suicide bombing on an Egged bus No. 16 in Haifa.

The bombing occurred shortly after noon, when a Hamas suicide bomber boarded an Egged No. 16 bus traveling from the Neveh Sha'anan district, paid the driver with a large bill, then blew himself up as the driver asked him to collect his change.

Riki Hadad boarded the bus to return home after visiting her grandmother who was hospitalized in Haifa when the bomb exploded.

Riki was born in Moshav Netua in the Western Galilee, near Israel's northern northern border. As a child, she received a kidney transplant donated by her mother.

She moved to Yokne'am seven years ago, after marrying Mickey Hadad.

Riki Hadad was buried in Yavniel. She is survived by her husband Mickey, daughter Bat-El (7) and son Almog (4).
