Mar 20, 2002 - Cpl. Aharon Revivo, 19, of Afula, was one of seven people killed in a suicide bombing of an Egged bus No. 823 traveling from Tel Aviv to Nazareth at the Musmus junction on Highway 65 (Wadi Ara) near Afula.

The attack occurred around 7 AM., shortly after the No. 823 Egged bus had stopped to take on passengers at the Umm el-Fahm junction. A few moments later, the terrorist detonated the explosives strapped to his body, blowing himself up and killing or wounding all of those with him on the bus, which was completely gutted. Cpl. Aharon Revivo was one of four soldiers and three civilians killed in the blast.

Cpl. Aharon (Ronny) Revivo was traveling on Bus 823 on his way to visit his mother in Afula, after getting a furlough from the army for a few hours. Ronny was born in Eilat, but, after his parents' divorce, moved to Afula with his mother and two sisters when he was 11. His father, Eli, remained in Eilat, where he works at the fire station at the city's airport. Ronny last visited his father three weeks ago.

Cpl. Aharon Revivo was buried in the military section of the cemetery in his home town Eilat. He is survived by his parents, Eli and Ariela, two sisters (22 and 12) and a two-year-old brother.
