Mar 11, 2011 - Udi Fogel (36) and Ruth Fogel (35) along with three of their children Yoav, 11, Elad, 4, and 3-month-old Hadas were stabbed to death by terrorists in their home in Itamar, in northern Samaria.
Rabbi Yehuda Ben-Yishai, Ruth's father, spoke of his deceased grandchildren: "Yoav, my grandson, a brilliant student whose life is over."
Yoav Fogel was buried at the Har Menuchot Cemetery in Jerusalem alongside his parents Udi and Ruth, his brother Elad and sister Hadas. He is survived by his siblings Tamar, 12, Ro'ie, 8 and Yishai, 2.
