Sameh Farauna, a senior Hamas terrorist involved in numerous launchings of rockets and mortar shells into Israel, including the attack on Israel Independence Day (April 24, 2007), was targeted this evening in the IDF attack in Sajaiya.
Farauna, a 28 year old Gaza resident, was also involved in shooting attacks along the route outside the Gaza Strip security fence, including at IDF posts along the fence.
Farauna and the other members of his terror cell recently carried out shooting attacks against Israelis, including the attack on March 19th in which they fired at an Israeli electricity worker, who was moderately wounded.
