Maor Harush

July 18, 2012 - Maor Harush, 26, of Akko was one of six people who were killed in a suicide bombing attack on a bus carrying Israelis at Sarafovo Airport in Burgas, Bulgaria.

Maor Harush boarded the flight to Burgas along with his childhood friend Elior Preis, also killed in the terror attack, and another friend, Daniel Fahima, who was seriously wounded. The three were planning on taking a six-day vacation.

Dudu Hazan, a close friend of the three, said Harush joined the two at the last minute."The evening before the flight the three were sitting together discussing the expected vacation. They were together all the time, especially Maor and Elior. They were close friends since they were ten, and fate had decided that they will end their lives together." Maor's father Benny had hoped that his son would join him in the family's electronics business.

Maor Makhluf Harush was laid to rest at the Nahalat Asher Cemetery. He is survived by his parents and sister Shira.
