Yael-Yulia Sklianik

June 2, 2001 - Yael-Yulia Sklianik, 15, of Holon, was one of 21 people killed in a suicide bombing at a Tel-Aviv discotheque shortly before midnight on Friday night, June 1. Mortally wounded in the blast, she died the following day.
Yael-Yulia Sklianik immigrated to Israel with her family in 1990 from the former Soviet Union.
Yael was a 9th grade student at the Katzir high school in Holon. Her teacher said, "Yael was blond, blue-eyed, full of life, and always smiling."
Yael left behind her parents, Oleg and Iriana, and an older sister, Liora.
She was buried in the Yarkon cemetery in Tel-Aviv.
